A model developed by Bruno and Bowditch (1989), which focuses on the preexisting factors, and processes involving a broad range of psychological processes in integrating M/A, provides a useful framework for understanding the psychology of M/A. This white paper explores this model, and outlines a scientific approach to providing some objective human capital measures relevant to M/A outcomes.
